Excellent food, big servings!

Excellent customer service! Super delicious real Mexican food! Clean Dinning area. Easy access to and from I-20. Truck parking at the Shell. I’ll be stopping here again! Absolutely loved it!

This restaurant in Heflin is the sister to the Vallarta at Hollis Crossroads. Both are great. I found out that they also have a tomatilla sauce that is so flavorful, it's great on the enchilada instead of the red sauce. The flavorings are phenomenal. They are much better than any other Mexican restaurant in this area. True Mexican food True Mexican flavor. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FLAVOR.

Very good Taco Tuesday.. Just wished they would individually wrap the soft taco's. They are a jumbled mess by the time I make it home.. But still good.

Great spot for some great, authentic Mexican food... Also, great service and ownership. Highly recommend if in the area.

Ordered the Vallarta dip for $12. The picture on the menu looked to be a big enough dip to share for the table full of shrimp, steak, chicken, and cheese dip. It was actually 4 shrimp, some skimpy little steak bits, 4 pieces of chicken, and a couple of table spoons of cheese dip in the bottom. It was good, but the portion for the price was ridiculous for this item. Everything else that was ordered at the table was excellent and much better priced and the staff was helpful and kept the drinks full.

Really really good food and decent prices. Good service as well from wait staff. Better than the bigger mexican restaurants and less frills. Just good food!

Amazing, first time here. I'm from oklahoma and the is a Mexican restaurant on every corner yet I only like one there and we'll Vallarta really impressed me. Great food, pricing is too bad at all . I had the 9.99 special dinner and could be finish it, allot of food for the price. Staff are nice and very helpful. Thank you Vallarta wait staff and cooks.

Service was decent, food was a bust. The steak in the steak burrito is more like beef tips you would use for stew.

Good food. Regular American style Mexican food. I love the salsa. It has a great flavor. Would recommend to any one. we usually go with a party of 7 or more with no problem seating. Clean restrooms also.

Amazing food at great prices

Only taking one star off because they don't have a bar area, or full bar selection. They have several vegetarian options. The staff is friendly and professional. Wish they had a better alcohol drink selection.

The food is always delicious and friendly people

The food was good, even though it did take some extra time to get our food and it was during lunch time. They had one waitress, whom was running her legs off to wait tables and run the register . She was also the hostess. The manager was helping to fill orders as well. On the outside the building doesn't look like much. But the inside was much better. It was clean. That means alot in my book!! One thing that impressed me was the fact that you could order off the lunch menu on Saturday. Most restaurants will not honor them on weekends. They also gave 10 percent off for all military with I'd. I would visit this restaurant again if I were in the area.

The Monterrey taco salad was awesome! Unlike any I have had before. The staff was great. I will definitely stop when I'm in the area!

We were on the way back home to Georgia when we were in the mood for Mexican food and found this place by the reviews on here. We found this place to be great. Friendly staff and good food.

First time and last time to eat there was today. Service was bad. After getting our food, we were never asked if we needed refills and we never got a ticket. Had to wait almost 5 minutes for some one to come to cash register to pay for our meals. The place only had a few tables filled, so it wasn't like they were super busy! The food was awful!! Very small portions. My husband had the burrito, enchilada, taco plate. The meat had the consistency of potted meat, and just a smear of that. I had the taco salad with chicken. The chicken tasted like reheated left over chicken. Our recommendation is to drive on into Oxford if you are looking for good Mexican food. Or just go to Taco Bell. Much better food and a whole lot less expensive.

Actually this is one of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to lately. I drive over the road and go to alot of restaurants and this one has all beat so far. Friendly staff food had great flavor. The only bad thing is they charges for everything I ordered 15.00 fajitas and charge for shredded cheese and only give 3 tortillas and charged for 3 extra. Other than that would have been 5 stars

Good food. Service is good. Haven't had a bad experience. The last time we went a bunch of teenagers were running in and out and being loud. Wish something could have been done about that.

This is a Wonderful place for Mexican food!! I believe it is family owned and operated!! All the staff is super friendly !! Everything I have had here is nothing short of SUPERB!! Love going for a quick lunch or a nice dinner. If you haven't tried it.. you definitely should! ********

Been there numerous times and the food is always good. Quick and friendly service as well. Only downside is the price. It’s more expensive than most Mexican restaurants, without larger sized portions for the price.

Awesome place to eat no matter what your in the mood for. Great Mexican food but also their wings are amazing. Taco Tuesday is always a great time to go.. 99 cent hardshell tacos. Their margaritas and other mixed drinks are amazing ... Great Staff :)

Got chimichangas they where not fried was messing other item like rice and cheese deep that was suppose to come on the food. Prices are also high for small portions of cheese dip and salsa and chip also food.
